Living in the Platinum Age of Peak TV means that not only is there a ton of television to watch, there’s a lot of news to go along with it. We here at Collider are only human, and there are only so many hours in the day; so from now on, each week we’ll be rounding up a batch of stories that might have missed your attention (and some that, at the time, missed ours), from updates on reboots to new featurettes to casting, and much more.

This week: Premiere dates have been revealed for returning series Veep, Catatrophe, and Orange Is the New Black, along with new teasers for the upcoming show The Patriot. Plus, we get our first glimpse at Netflix's Anne of Green Gables adaptation, and a music video from Riverdale. Check it all out below:

Orange Is the New Black Season 5 Teaser Promises Big Changes

Orange Is the New Black's fourth season ended with the death of a beloved inmate, as well as a prison riot that left everything uncertain. It was a dark season that was also more measured and considered in a way the show hasn't always been in the past. This teaser for the new season -- which will air on Netflix June 9th -- shows us a litany of familiar faces without words or context, but it's pretty clear that things are not going to be the same when we return to Litchfield.

'Veep' Returns This Spring

Since Veep has become a kind of documentary to what's happening in Washington D.C. these days, what will the series have in store when it returns? When your show is about the satire of a government office that has become its own satire, where do you go from there? We'll start finding out as HBO begins releasing teasers, but we'll know for sure once the 10-episode sixth season premieres April 16th.

Surprise! 'Catastrophe' Season 3 Returns Soon

Catastrophe, the best comedy you're not watching, is always excellent and always too short. With Peak TV clouding my concept of which shows are coming back when, I'm excited that Amazon has now revealed the disarmingly honest and charming series will be returning April 28th for Season 3 on (it's also already been renewed for Season 4, huzzah!)

In a new video revealing the premiere date, co-creators and stars Sharon Horgan and Rob Delaney talking about their roles on the series and answer some questions that are silly, but their reactions make it all worthwhile ("we're both pretty vile"). If you aren't caught up on this show, I suggest you move it to the top of your queue!

'Riverdale': Watch Josie and the Pussycats Perform “All For Me”

We may have differing opinions on Riverdale (it's not really my cuppa, but ymmv), but one thing we can all agree on is that we need more Josie and the Pussycats in our lives. A new music video has been released for the song they performed in this latest episode, which was a collaboration with Archie Andrews called "All For Me." Check out the whole song in the video above.

Series star Ashleigh Murray provides lead vocals on the new “All For Me” recording, which Josie (Murray) and the Pussycats (guest stars Asha Bromfield as Melody and Hayley Law as Valerie) perform at the Taste of Riverdale event in the video. (Murray previously sang lead on a cover of “Candy Girl [Sugar Sugar]” which aired in the February 2 episode.)

Netflix Gives Us a Glimpse of Its 'Anne of Green Gables' Adaptation

After PBS recently aired their adaptation of Anne of Green Gables (to mixed reviews), I completely forgot that Netflix also had an Anne series in the works. PBS did a movie, this will be a series, so there are some differences there. But what a time to be alive, fellow Lucy Maud Montgomery fans!

Most of the teaser shows flame-haired characters from Netflix's other original series, but at the end we do get a glimpse of Anne (Amybeth McNulty) herself (though the modern music is a little off-putting). The series will air May 12th, so hopefully we'll get a full trailer soon -- I'm very curious about the aesthetics of this one, especially since it's reportedly going to lean in to topics like bullying, feminism, and identity while still staying true to the books (which addressed all of those things as well, of course).

Kate McKinnon to Voice Ms. Frizzle in 'Magic School Bus' Reboot

Firstly: The Magic School Bus is coming back (to Netflix this time around) in a new reboot. Secondly: It's changing its voice cast for Ms. Frizzle from Lily Tomlin (who is currently starring in the Netflix series Grace and Frankie) to Saturday Night Live's Kate McKinnon, which feels pretty perfect.

According to THR,

Magic School Bus Rides Again will feature a modernized Ms. Frizzle and her class along with an inventive high-tech bus. The series also will highlight the latest tech innovations such as robotics, wearables and camera technology — just as in the original PBS show — to encourage children's interest in science.

'The Patriot' Trailer Reveals an Unlikely Hero

This is one that's been flying under the radar, and even after watching its trailer a few times I'm not entirely sure what to make of it. Amazon's latest original series, The Patriot's story is thus:

To prevent Iran from going nuclear, intelligence officer John Tavner must forgo all safety nets and assume a perilous "non-official cover" -- that of a mid-level employee at a Midwestern industrial piping firm.

This isn't the most enticing of synopses, but watching the trailer gives me Sneaky Pete vibes, a show that started off well but really grew on me as it progressed. As long as it's not too self-serious, The Patriot could be Amazon's latest great binge-watch.
