On the heels of massive ratings for its debut, the Roseanne revival will be returning for another season. ABC made it official today, announcing that Roseanne Season 11 has been picked up. The revival was a pretty big deal in the first place, as Roseanne stood as one of the classic 90s sitcoms that seemed primed to return. As viewerships dwindle due to overwhelming options on cable, pay cable, and streaming services, networks have resorted to reviving old shows to great success. It’s hard to blame them, as the networks don’t have the budgets to compete with Netflix or HBO but they do own prime real estate that those other networks and streaming services can’t access.

The Roseanne revival’s two-episode premiere scored a whopping 21.8 million viewers, a number that’s unheard of in television today. While it’ll be interesting to see how significantly that number drops next week, it’s clear there was intense interest in checking in on the Conner family.

Some have attributed Roseanne’s success to politics, but it shouldn’t be ignored that the show was a huge hit in the first place, and this revival managed to bring all the main actors back. Sara Gilbert, who plays Darlene in the series, spearheaded the revival as an executive producer and writer, and while the press release doesn’t specify who will be at the helm next season, one imagines Gilbert will remain intimately involved in the actual writing of the series.

Roseanne isn’t the only revival scoring huge ratings. Will & Grace returned to NBC last year with a 10-episode new season and performed so well the network has already renewed it for two additional seasons. Nostalgia is in, folks.

This current tenth season of Roseanne will run for nine episodes. No episode count was given for Roseanne Season 2, or Roseanne Season 11—however you want to classify it. The series airs Tuesday nights on ABC and stars Roseanne Barr, John Goodman, Laurie Metcalf, Lecy Goranson, Michael Fishman, Emma Kenney, Ames McNamara, Jayden Rey, and Sarah Chalke.
