The trailer for Wes Craven's Scream 4 debuted last night during the taping of the 2010 Scream Awards.  Now, thanks to the magic of the Internet and concealable video recorders, a leak is available online.  I'll refrain from making any judgment calls on the merit of the trailer until I can see a version of higher audio/video quality.  That said, I don't think I'm giving too much away when I say that it features a lot of, well, screaming.

As mentioned, the quality on display here is nothing to write home about.  However, if the idea of waiting until the 2010 Scream Awards air on Spike this coming Tuesday night doesn't appeal to you, check out the cock-eyed debut of the Scream 4 trailer after the jump.  The film is slated to open April 15th, 2011 and stars Neve Campbell, Courteney Cox, David Arquette, Emma Roberts, and Hayden Panettiere.
