Held at the Greek Theater in Los Angeles and airing on October 19^th, Spike TV’s “Scream Awards 2010" is an annual event commemorating all things sci-fi, fantasy, horror and comic books. The hottest films, TV shows, comics, actors, creators and icons that have influenced and shaped these genres were honored, and world premiere footage from some of the most anticipated theatrical and television releases were showcased.

Such famous faces as Halle Berry, Megan Fox, Mickey Rourke, Ryan Reynolds and Blake Lively were greeted by cheers from the packed house of costumed fans, while Sigourney Weaver emerged from a giant pod to accept an award from James Cameron, and Bill Murray appeared in full Ghostbusters gear to claim an award for Zombieland. Michael J. Fox and Christopher Lloyd got a much-deserved standing ovation as they reunited with the DeLorean to celebrate the 25^th anniversary of Back to the Future, and the Comic-Con Icon Award went to much-beloved author Ray Bradbury for his dedication to the annual pop-culture festival. The Twilight Saga co-stars Kristen Stewart, Nikki Reed and Jackson Rathbone were on hand to accept the prize for Best Fantasy Film, and the cast of HBO’s True Blood – including Anna Paquin, Stephen Moyer, Alexander Skarsgaard, Sam Trammell, Rutina Wesley, Kristin Bauer and show creator Alan Ball – received honors for their popular series. Also in attendance at the event, which featured a performance from M.I.A., were Lost executive producers Damon Lindelof and Carlton Cuse with co-stars Jorge Garcia, Harold Perrineau, Henry Ian Cusick, Francois Chau and Malcolm David Kelley; Scream 4 co-stars David Arquette, Neve Campbell, Emma Roberts and director Wes Craven; Nina Dobrev, Paul Wesley and Ian Somerhalder from The Vampire Diaries; The Walking Dead’s Jon Bernthal and Sarah Wayne Callies; and rocker Marilyn Manson, among others.
