Fox has unveiled some cute teasers for Ryan Murphy's latest anthology series, Scream Queens, but the network just dropped a brand new trailer that finally reveals some footage and introduces us to the main players. Fox has yet to release an official synopsis for the show, but based on what we've seen from the promotional campaign thus far, we know that Emma Roberts leads as Chanel Oberlin, the queen bee of a sorority who isn't happy when a killer targets Greek life on campus.

I'm still eager to see a more substantial promo, but this piece does deliver a good sense of the tone of the show and I like what I see so far. At this point, I'm convinced Murphy and his team have a brilliant idea here and a winning cast to go along with it, but the question still remains, will he be able to make the best of them both throughout the season? I've sat through enough American Horror Story to know that Murphy is the king of good ideas who has no clue what to do with them. Fingers crossed that won't be the case here though.

Check out the new Scream Queens trailer for yourself below. The show also stars Lea Michele, Keke PalmerNasim Pedrad, Jamie Lee Curtis, Nick Jonas, Oliver Hudson, Ariana GrandeSkyler SamuelsBillie LourdDiego Boneta and Abigail Breslin, and will kick off its 15-episode run in the fall on Fox.
