Normally the prospect of a new series about two men raising a 12-year old kid would just scream Two and a Half Men copycat (a nightmare in itself), but this time a new sitcom with that premise comes with a bit of a progressive twist. EW has word that a new comedy series that will bring Will & Grace star Sean Hayes back to TV in a bold way. Apparently his new series will pair him with Rescue Me creator Peter Tolan and his writing partner Michael Wimer for a comedy that will follow a gay couple raising a kid. As of now the series hasn't landed at a network and is currently just in the development stages. While you might think this is going to be a difficult show to sell, the storylines involving the openly gay main characters on Glee and Modern Family have worked out all right, so this could be another great step for representing all facets of today's families on the small screen.
