Jason Segel and Cameron Diaz “made a sex tape,” and our first preview of the finished product is now online.  The two star in director Jake Kasdan’s (Bad Teacher) upcoming comedy Sex Tape, which revolves around a couple who, after discovering that their three-hour intimate video has been stolen, set out to recover the tape and ensure that their reputations aren't ruined.  This first image from the pic gives us a tease of what that sex tape may entail, as Diaz is seen in bed sporting a pair of roller skates (one assumes she's just really into Boogie Nights).  Segel co-wrote the screenplay with Kasdan and Kate Angelo, and as a big fan of Kasdan’s Walk Hard—not to mention the impressive comedic abilities of Segel and Diaz—I’m very much looking forward to seeing what they’ve cooked up for this new film.  Expect a debut trailer soon.

Hit the jump to check out the image.  The film also stars Rob Corddry, Ellie Kemper, and Rob LoweSex Tape opens on July 25th.

Here’s the official synopsis for Sex Tape:

When Jay (Jason Segel) and Annie (Cameron Diaz) first got together, their romantic connection was intense – but ten years and two kids later, the flame of their love needs a spark.  To kick things up a notch, they decide – why not? – to make a video of themselves trying out every position in The Joy of Sex in one marathon three-hour session.  It seems like a great idea – until they discover that their most private video is no longer private.  With their reputations on the line, they know they’re just one click away from being laid bare to the world... but as their race to reclaim their video leads to a night they'll never forget, they'll find that their video will expose even more than they bargained for.
