With what seems to be a trend with the people involved in the Transformers franchise, Shia LaBeouf is also reassuring audiences that Transformers 3 will be significantly more enjoyable than the second.

LaBeouf is currently at the Cannes Film Festival promoting Wall Street: Money Never Sleeps, but of course, he finds himself confronting Transformers 3 questions as well. THR reports that LaBeouf feels the third film will be the best one yet, focusing less on cheap action and more on the human element that made the first a success.

“When I saw the second movie, I wasn’t impressed with what we did.  There were some really wild stunts in it, but the heart was gone.”

We’ll have to wait awhile for proof since Transformers 3 only begins production this month. Meanwhile, you’ll be able to catch LaBeouf in Wall Street: Money Never Sleeps when it’s released on September 24, 2010.
