Universal has released a new Sisters trailer online. Tina Fey and Amy Poehler star as two estranged sisters who have to return home to clean out their rooms before their parents sell the family house. While there, they opt to have one last hurrah and throw a huge house party for their former classmates.

This new trailer has some brief bits of new footage, and it’s hard not to feel a little bad for the film, which is going to be exist as the world’s meekest counter-programming to Star Wars: The Force Awakens. I’d be curious to know how many people end up seeing Sisters because Star Wars is sold out, because that’s what you want to be to your audience: a second choice for annoyed ticket buyers. And yet Fey and Poehler are so charming that I think they could win people over, and I just wonder why the studio didn’t put them on their own weekend. Hopefully they'll make some joke about it when they host SNL in December.

Check out the new Sisters trailer below. The film opens December 18th, and also stars Maya RudolphIke BarinholtzJohn LeguizamoDianne WiestJohn Cena and James Brolin.

Here’s the official synopsis for Sisters:

Tina Fey and Amy Poehler reunite for Sisters, a new film from Pitch Perfect director Jason Moore about two disconnected sisters summoned home to clean out their childhood bedroom before their parents sell the family house. Looking to recapture their glory days, they throw one final high-school-style party for their classmates, which turns into the cathartic rager that a bunch of ground-down adults really need.
