A new trailer for Pedro Almodovar’s latest effort The Skin I Live In has been released, and I still have no idea what’s going on. The new trailer is fairly similar to the last one we saw back in June, but adds a few new clips as well as a bit of context/exposition (but just barely). The film centers on a plastic surgeon who imprisons and torments his partner in his basement while plotting his revenge against the man who raped his daughter. Antonio Banderas and Elena Anaya star as the surgeon and partner, respectively. Almodovar is an interesting director, but this movie looks straight up surreal.Hit the jump to watch the trailer. The film will be screening at the Toronto Film Festival as well as the New York Film Festival this fall. The Skin I Live In opens October 14.Trailer and poster both courtesy of Yahoo!:

Marilia, the woman who looked after him from the day he was born, is his most faithful accomplice. And as for the human guinea pig…
