Today, November 11, is a nostalgic day for The Elder Scrolls fans. The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim celebrates its 10-year anniversary with a special fan celebration and brand-new Skyrim edition that is definitely a reason to have both old and new players excited.

To celebrate the first decade anniversary Bethesda Game Studio has posted a commemorative trailer on Twitter that showcases this new Skyrim Anniversary Edition. The trailer is accompanied by the iconic "Skyrim Theme Song" (the Dragonborn song), and it presents some of the upgrades, gear, magic, mounts, and even a minigame that players can expect to find in this new edition. Owners of this new edition on any gaming console will be awarded access to free Creation Club content which includes fishing, survival mode, and new quests with Saints and Seducers.

On top of that, if you already have Skyrim and do not wish to purchase the game again, those who own a PlayStation 5 or Xbox Series X|S will receive a free upgrade to an enhanced version today for your system.
