When new images are released for a film, they almost always contain the stars, and that’s been true thus far for Bong Joon-Ho’s Snowpiercer.  But a new batch of images have landed online, and they take the interesting approach of mostly putting the stars aside to focus on the unnamed passengers who struggle with the class system implemented on the post-apocalyptic train.  It’s a fascinating look that we usually only see in concept art, and then is quickly forgotten when the finished product is marketed to the masses.  But looking at these images, I wish more movies would take this approach because I’m fascinated to see how Bong has taken a shantytown look and then redesigned it to fit inside boxcars.
