Comedy Central has made a couple of renewals for two of its shows, one veteran and one relatively fresh face. South Park has been given a three-season pick-up, ensuring the animated series will remain on the network through 2019 and also confirming that the long-running show will hit the insane 300-episode benchmark. Creators Trey Parker and Matt Stone recently said that they’ll essentially keep making South Park until it’s canceled, and it doesn't look like that's happening anytime soon. In short, everybody wins!

The network ordered 30 new episodes of the series, with each 10-episode season running consecutively every fall. Back in 2013, South Park stopped airing its seasons in two halves—7 episodes in the spring, 7 episodes in the fall—and switched to just airing 10-episode seasons straight through. Comedy Central’s episode order confirms that this plan will remain intact going forward, with Season 19 set to premiere on September 16th.

Additionally, Comedy Central has renewed Chris Hardwick’s late-night game show @Midnight for a third season, with the 40-week run set to air in 2016. The series is a crossover hit with social media, as Hardwick and his comedian/celebrity guests invite audience participation in the show’s various games.
