Today, we’re pleased to debut an alternate Southbound poster. Per the official synopsis, “On a desolate stretch of desert highway, weary travelers—two men on the run from their past, a band on their way to the next gig, a man struggling to get home, a brother in search of his long-lost sister and a family on vacation—are forced to confront their worst fears and darkest secrets in these interwoven tales of terror and remorse on the open road.”

I’m a tough sell when it comes to anthology films since some of the loosely connected stories almost inevitably look better when placed directly next to others, and you have to evaluate how well those stories work when tied together. But Southbound just plain works, and this badass poster is worthy of the movie. Click here to read Perri’s positive review from the Toronto International Film Festival.

Check out the Southbound poster below. The film opens in theaters on Friday and on Cable VOD/Digital on February 9th (click here to pre-order on iTunes).
