Excerpt: Are you a fan of the new tech?

Attention, cosplayers. If you’re looking for more reference points for putting together your outfits based on the Spider-Man: Homecoming suit, some new detailed shots of Peter Parker’s new (and improved?) web-shooters have hit the Web.

The Twitter account for Atlanta Filming, which tracks the production happenings of Hollywood in the Atlanta area, posted three new close-up shots of the latest technological accouterments. When Tom Holland made his debut as the web-slinger in Captain America: Civil War, we saw he made himself some web-shooters, which were later updated by Tony Stark (Robert Downey Jr.), who is also returning for a role in Homecoming. Are these his handiwork?

So, cosplayers, have at it!

Holland, his director Jon Watts, and some of his fellow cast mates — Zendaya, Tony Revolori, Jacob Batalon, and Laura Harrier — hit up San Diego Comic-Con to showcase new concept art, reveal the villain (Vulture), and screen some early footage. In a separate interview with EW, Watts confirmed Zendaya as Michelle, Revolori as Peter’s high school bully Flash, Batalon as Ned, and Harrier as Liz.

Elsewhere, Michael Keaton (presumably playing the villain, though no one is talking in an official capacity), Marisa Tomei (as Aunt May), Martin Starr, Logan Marshall-Green, Donald Glover, Hannibal Buress, Kenneth Choi, Angourie Rice, and professional fighter Tyron Woodley are also featured among the immense cast.

Specific plot details are begin kept under wraps for the time being, but a general logline for the film states Peter will be coming to terms with his newfound identity as Spider-Man. Watts cited a John Hughes influence in the film, and the cast said they call themselves The Breakfast Club on set.

Production continues on Spider-Man: Homecoming ahead of the film’s release on July 7, 2017.
