In case you haven’t already gotten your fill of Star Trek Into Darkness by way of a bounty of posters, clips, TV spots, images, and trailers, Paramount has unveiled yet another one-sheet for J.J. Abrams’ sci-fi sequel. The new poster shows the USS Enterprise being dwarfed by a much larger starship aptly called the USS Vengeance. All signs point to Kirk and the gang encountering great peril during this go-around.
Hit the jump to check out the new poster. The film stars Chris Pine, Zachary Quinto, Zoe Saldana, Karl Urban, Simon Pegg, Anton Yelchin, John Cho, Alice Eve, and Benedict Cumberbatch. Star Trek Into Darkness opens in IMAX 3D on May 15th and in 2D and 3D in traditional theaters on May 17th.

In the wake of a shocking act of terror from within their own organization, the crew of The Enterprise is called back home to Earth. In defiance of regulations and with a personal score to settle, Captain Kirk leads his crew on a manhunt to capture an unstoppable force of destruction and bring those responsible to justice.
As our heroes are propelled into an epic chess game of life and death, love will be challenged, friendships will be torn apart, and sacrifices must be made for the only family Kirk has left: his crew.
