From director J.J. Abrams‘, the seventh installment in the beloved franchise opens December 18th and stars Mark Hamill, Carrie Fisher, Harrison Ford, John Boyega, Daisy Ridley, Oscar Isaac, Adam Driver, Lupita Nyong’o, Gwendolyn Christie, Domhnall Gleeson, Andy Serkis, and Max Von Sydow.

We don't have an official synopsis for the latest Star Wars film just yet, but here's a bonus addition for the film's IMAX release:

The IMAX release of Star Wars: The Force Awakens will be digitally re-mastered into the image and sound quality of An IMAX 3D Experience® with proprietary IMAX DMR® (Digital Re-mastering) technology.
