A new Star Wars movie is coming out this year. That’s pretty exciting, no? Just that sentence, in and of itself, is really neat. While we won’t see Star Wars: The Force Awakens until this December, there are unsurprisingly some big plans underway for the semi-regular fan event Star Wars Celebration this April. It was announced today that director J.J. Abrams and producer Kathleen Kennedy will make a special appearance at Star Wars Celebration in Anaheim this April, noting that the will “kick off the show in a big way”.

Could the two be unveiling the new trailer for the film (likely attached to Avengers: Age of Ultron in early May), or maybe something a bit more intimate, like the first look at Mark Hamill, Harrison Ford, or Carrie Fisher back in costume? Obviously we don’t know, but Star Wars Celebration is a big deal for fans, so I imagine Abrams and Kennedy have something special in store for the event.

The kickoff with Abrams and Kennedy is set to take place on Thursday, April 16th at 10:00 am. Tickets are on sale now at the Star Wars Celebration site, but you best move quickly—the line for the event has already started to form.
