It's been too long since we've had some Star Wars: Episode VII rumors.  The wait until the trailers give everything away can be interminable,  so thankfully some fresh rumors have landed online about what we might expect from the upcoming, highly-anticipated sequel.  First up, Latino Review is reporting that the movie will have a female villain, and there's a 50-50 chance that she's a Sith.  The new female cast members are Lupita Nyong'o, Gwendoline Christie, and Daisy Ridley.  Any one of them could be Sith, and as long as the character is well-written, it would be cool to see a badass female villain become part of the main Star Wars films.

Latino Review also reports that even though the Empire fell thirty years ago, the Republic still doesn't exist at the beginning of Episode VII.  Way to go, Rebels.  You can blow up the Death Star twice, but someone asks you to come up with a real form of governance, and you're nowhere to be found.  Typical.

Perhaps the biggest news item is that John Boyega's character doesn't start out as a Jedi or a Padawan.  "He’s the one that has the story arc that brings him into Star Wars’ greater universe," reports Latino Review. "It has echoes of Luke’s arc in A New Hope."

Finally, in a minor rumor, LR says that armor similar to Boba Fett's will be kicking around in the sequels.  It probably won't be on Boba Fett (he might still be busy getting digested), but since the character is so popular, I wouldn't be surprised to see armor in Episode VII based on the design.
