With the massive Star Wars film franchise expansion beginning on December 18, 2015 with the release of Star Wars: Episode VII, there are bound to be loads of movie-inspired toys on the way, but for now, Hasbro is revving its engines using preexisting film staples as well as the brand new CGI animated series, Star Wars Rebels, to continue to build the toy line.

The Star Wars Rebel collection introduces us to new characters including the Rebel heroes Ezra, Kanan and Zeb, as well as the villain the Inquisitor along with his lightsaber, which offers three ways to play – single blade, double blade and force disc form.  Over in the Black Series we’ve got six-inch figures of Luke and Anakin Skywalker as well as a number of 3.75-inch newcomers including Yoda, Darth Vader and more.  Also well worth noting is the brand new Star Wars Command line, which is essentially the Star Wars version of those little army men.  There’s an enormous selection of tiny characters and vehicles that ultimately, as one host joked during the presentation, give kids the tools to wage war.  He laughed and noted, “This isn’t Star Hugs!  It’s Star Wars!”  Hit the jump for over 40 pictures of the Command line and more.
