We’ve seen crossovers between Arrow and The Flash, and The Flash and Supergirl. We’ve seen Vixen come out of the animated landscape and Constantine come back from cancellation to aid the bow-wielding vigilante. What will DC on TV do next? If a photo from Stephen Amell can be believed, perhaps a crossover with Arrow, The Flash, Legends of Tomorrow, and Supergirl.

Amell posted a teaser-y photo to Instagram this weekend of a boots-eye view of the actor hanging out with Grant Gustin (Flash), Melissa Benoist (Supergirl), Caity Lotz (White Canary), and Brandon Routh (Atom) on set — all in costume. The caption was simple but appetizing: “Coming soon.”

The existence of this photo suggests a four-show crossover could take place early on in the season, and it probably helps that Supergirl is now on team CW to better coordinate with the different shows. But then there are recent comments from head honcho Greg Berlanti to consider. According to EW, Berlanti and his team are “just about to start breaking the crossover episodes,” though he did reveal this morsel:

"I’m going to probably try to have one unifying threat, as opposed to different things on different ones, which is what the first year was."

Supergirl moved production to Vancouver, where the other CW DC shows film, so perhaps they were all just in the right place at the right time. Amell also posted a photo of himself with the newly minted Superman, Tyler Hoechlin.

The crossover event will kick off in November, after The Flash returns October 4, Arrow returns October 5, Supergirl debuts in her new home on October 10, and Legends of Tomorrow returns October 13. The latter wrapped up its Vandal Savage storyline, so what threat could be even greater to incorporate all of these heroes?
