During a Q & A at a Real Steel IMAX screening, director Shawn Levy spoke to Collider’s Steve Weintraub about Stranger Things season two. Levy told the audience that he’ll be directing episodes 3 & 4 of season two, just like he directed episodes 3 & 4 of season one. Levy also said that season 2 will debut in 2017 as promised, but probably not until the end of the year. Levy added that season 2 will try and focus on a return to normalcy.

In an interview with ComicBook.com, actor Gabriel Luna who plays Robbie Reyes, aka Ghost Rider on Marvel’s Agents of SHIELD, told the site that there have been talks about a possible solo spinoff series. The actor said that there is definitely potential for this to actually happen.

Former boyband members, Donnie Wahlberg of New Kids on the Block and Nick Lachey of 98 Degrees are teaming up to produce Encore at CBS. The single-camera comedy revolves around a former boy band member and his life 20 years later with a family, real life and possibly reuniting the band.
