The latest trailer for Warner Bros. adaptation of DC Comics' Suicide Squad has arrived courtesy of a special video that was released during the film's panel at Comic-Con 2016, giving us plenty of new footage from David Ayer's pageant of villainy.

This is our most extensive look at the film yet, and it's set to various songs from the official Suicide Squad soundtrack. The marketing campaign for this movie has been nailing it ever since it began, even if the film got off to a bit of a sudden start when the Comic-Con-only sizzle reel leaked online last year. This is what looks to be a final trailer for the film as it opens in theaters in just a couple of weeks, and I am mighty excited to see what shenanigans ensue.

Take a look at the new trailer for Suicide Squad right below:

Suicide Squad is written and directed by Ayer, and is produced by Bruce Franklin, Andy Horwitz, Alex Ott, Charles Roven, Richard Suckle, and Colin Wilson. Geoff Johns, Zack Snyder, and Deborah Snyder are all executive producing, while Roman Vasyanov, who collaborated with Ayer on Fury and End of Watch, will serve as director of photography. The film stars Jared Leto as The Joker, Will Smith as Deadshot, Margot Robbie as Harley Quinn, Ben Affleck as Batman, Cara Delevingne as Enchantress, Viola Davis as Amanda Waller, Jai Courtney as Captain Boomerang, Adam Beach as Slipknot, Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje as Killer Croc, Jay Hernandez as El Diablo, Joel Kinnaman as Rick Flagg, and Karen Fukuhara as Katana. Scott Eastwood, Common, Ike Barinholtz, David Harbour, and Jim Parrack co-star in the film.

Suicide Squad will be released in theaters nationwide on August 5th.

Here's the official synopsis for Suicide Squad:

From director David Ayer comes “Suicide Squad,” starring Oscar nominee Will Smith, Oscar winner Jared Leto, Margot Robbie, Joel Kinnaman and Oscar nominee Viola Davis. It feels good to be bad… Assemble a team of the world’s most dangerous, incarcerated Super-Villains, provide them with the most powerful arsenal at the government’s disposal, and send them off on a mission to defeat an enigmatic, insuperable entity. U.S. intelligence officer Amanda Waller has determined only a secretly convened group of disparate, despicable individuals with next to nothing to lose will do. However, once they realize they weren’t picked to succeed but chosen for their patent culpability when they inevitably fail, will the Suicide Squad resolve to die trying, or decide it’s every man for himself?
