Supergirl is getting a visit from the original Wonder Woman! Except now she’s the president of the United States, and by extension, since Supergirl shares the DC TV universe with Arrow, The Flash, and Legends of Tomorrow, she’s the President of the televised DCEU. Well, at least in one reality, because lord knows the folks at the helm of DC TV love visiting alternate dimensions and if there’s anything Killer Fost has taught us, it’s that you never know what you’re going to get when you hop universes! Which means we might see Lynda Carter suit up in a supersuit again some day. I doubt it, but hey, a girl can dream.

Carter will make her debut in the third episode of Season 2, titled “Welcome to Earth,” on Supergirl’s new home at The CW. The episode introduces Carter as President Olivia Marsdin, who comes under attack when the hot-button alien vs. human rights issues heat up in National City. Fortunately, National City’s got a Supergirl, and Melissa Benoist‘s Kryptonian hero teams up with the DEO to protesct the president and bring in the responsible party. Believing the recently escaped alien Mon-El (Chris Wood) — AKA the mystery pod passenger — may be the culprit behind the assault, Kara heads out in search of him while her sister, Alex (Chyler Leigh), teams up with Detective Maggie Sawyer (Floriana Lima) to investigate the case.

In addition to Carter’s president of the United States, Wood’s mysterious alien, and Lima’s Science Crimes Captain, Season 2 recruited Tyler Hoechlin to play Kara’s cousin, the one and only Man of Steel; Ian Gomez as Kara’s new supervisor, Snapper Carr; Katie McGrath as Lena Luthor; Dichen Lachman as Roulette, and Frederick Schmidt as John Corben aka Metallo.

Check out the new Supergirl images below. Supergirl Season 2 premieres Monday, Oct. 10 at 8/7c. Carter will make her debut when “Welcome to Earth” airs in the same time slot on October 24th.
