Deadpool got us off to a very promising start for the year that awaits us in regards to superhero films, and let us not forget about the successful run that superheroes are having on TV as well. This week, Captain America: Civil War revealed its cover for Empire Magazine, Daredevil premiered its first full-length Season 2 trailer, Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 announced that it has begun filming, and plenty more. ‘Captain America: Civil War’ Empire Magazine Cover Revealed

Up to this point in the Marvel cinematic universe we have seen Tony Stark (Robert Downey Jr.) and Steve Rogers (Chris Evans) butt heads a few times in disagreements, but none can compare to what we are expecting to see in Captain America: Civil War. Empire Magazine is teasing the awaited super fight with the release of its new cover form the film, which puts the opposing heroes head-to-head. In the cover art we see fully-geared Iron Man and Captain America clashing shield against blast, something that we can only assume we’ll get plenty of when the film hits theaters.

‘Daredevil’ Releases First Season 2 Trailer, New Poster, and Promos

If you’re like me, you hated the fact that you watched the first season of Daredevil so fast that you had to wait a while to see the second. Luckily, we’re not far away from seeing season 2, and there’s no better sign of that than the release of the first trailer. The trailer really shines the spotlight on Jon Bernthal’s Punisher, on the big threat and challenge that he will be for Charlie Cox’s Daredevil, and how they seemingly are different sides of the same coin.

And just in case you needed something extra before seeing the second part of the trailer, a new poster and two new promos were also released for Daredevil Season 2.

‘Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2’ Officially Stars Filming

Director James Gunn has recently shared information and a few pictures from Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2, and the latest reveal has come in the form of the announcement –which Marvel backed up in a press release– that the awaited sequel officially began filming. Gunn took to twitter to share a picture of the Guardians and confirmed that principal photography had indeed begun. The announcement also included the reveal that the returning main cast of Chris Pratt, Zoe Saldana, Dave Bautista, Bradley Cooper, and Vin Diesel will be joined by Pom Klementieff, Elizabeth Debicki, Chris Sullivan, and Kurt Russell.

‘DC’s Legends of Tomorrow’: Stephen Amell Teases “Future Arrow”

Not too long ago we learned that DC’s Legends of Tomorrow in its rime travel would bring the delight of a guest appearance of Stephen Amell as an older Green Arrow in the year 2046, goatee and missing arm included. Now Amell himself has teased his special appearance on Twitter by sharing images of his “Future Arrow”. The images included one of an old Oliver Queen from the iconic Dark Knight Returns comic, and two others from his upcoming appearance in Legends of Tomorrow.

‘Spawn’ Writer Says R-Rated Movie Will Embrace Horror and the Supernatural

Deadpool in its R-rated glory and success has opened up doors to other potential R-rated superhero or comic book movies getting their shot on the big screen, one of those apparently being Spawn, from which writer Todd McFarlane recently shared a few updates. During an interview, McFarlane shared that he has actually finished a script for the movie that he says will be a “hard R”, and added that he’d “put it more into the horror/suspense/supernatural genre.”
