When it comes to the superhero genre, the big question being presented is if audiences will get tired of so much content being released, and 2016 –with multiple superhero movies and TV series– is looking like a year that will put that question to the test. And of course that also means that news is constantly flowing from those projects. This week, Batman v Superman released new TV spots, Daredevil premiered trailer, Doctor Strange revealed more concept art, and much more. Catch up with the latest below.

It’s getting close to the time when we will get to see two of the most iconic superheroes fight it out on the big screen in Zack Snyder’s Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice, and to continue to build up the anticipation for the conflict WB has released a the film's first TV spots. The first TV spot features Henry Cavill’s Superman effortlessly stopping the Batmobile, followed by a stare down that ends with Ben Affleck’s Batman saying the popular line we’ve previously heard, “Do you bleed? Scott Derrickson’s Doctor Strange gave us plenty to talk about last week with the first looks at Benedict Cumberbatch as the Sorcerer Supreme and some concept art, but that apparently wasn’t enough and Marvel decided to show us where Stephen Strange will practice his spells via new concept art. The new concept art revealed by Marvel gives us a peek at where Doctor Strange will spend his down time in the MCU, also known as the Sanctum Sanctorum.

Perhaps what we’re looking forward to the most in Captain America: Civil War, other than the film itself, is the introduction of Spider-Man (Tom Holland) into the MCU. And while we have yet to get our first look at this new version of Spidey, directors Joe and Anthony Russo gave some new details on the character. The Russos took some time recently to explain how the MCU Spider-Man will defer from previous renditions of the character, including that they wanted to cast “somebody very close to the age of a high school student” and that they “wanted an energy and charisma from the character, an energy, but also an insecurity that would make him fun to watch in contrast to the confident superheroes.”
