New Posters for SAW 3D and Disney’s TANGLED

     September 30, 2010

We have a couple of new posters for you this afternoon.  First up is the final poster for the “final” Saw film, Saw 3D.  Starring series mainstay Tobin Bell and featuring the return of original Saw alum Cary Elwes, the poster is of the animated variety and (much like the last handful of installments in the series) is cool for a few seconds before becoming obnoxiously redundant.  Our second poster today is from Disney’s upcoming animated film Tangled.  Featuring the voice talents of Mandy Moore, Zachary Levi, and Ron Perlman, the one-sheet delivers the features you might expect from Disney – solid animation, rich colors, and the overwhelming feeling that, in spite of my being nowhere near its target demographic, I will love the film.

Hit the jump to check out the posters along with a synopsis for each.  Saw 3D opens October 29th.  Tangled hits theaters on November 24th.

Here’s the synopsis for Tangled:

Walt Disney Pictures presents “Tangled,” one of the most hilarious, hair-raising tales ever told. When the kingdom’s most wanted–and most charming–bandit Flynn Rider (voice of Zachary Levi) hides out in a mysterious tower, he’s taken hostage by Rapunzel (voice of Mandy Moore), a beautiful and feisty tower-bound teen with 70 feet of magical, golden hair. Flynn’s curious captor, who’s looking for her ticket out of the tower where she’s been locked away for years, strikes a deal with the handsome thief and the unlikely duo sets off on an action-packed escapade, complete with a super-cop horse, an over-protective chameleon and a gruff gang of pub thugs. In theaters this holiday season in Disney Digital 3D(TM), “Tangled” is a story of adventure, heart, humor and hair–lots of hair.
