We’ve already received our first full look at Kraang, the brain-mutant nemesis of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, but the latest trailer for Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Out of the Shadows gives a full sense of the showdown thats about to happen in the anticipated sequel, a thorough sense of the action. I must admit that I was not a fan of the first film in the slightest, and I’m relatively certain that many of my issues with it – the photorealistic depictions of mutants, the self-serious melodramatic moments, the what I guess you would call “jokes,” etc. – will continue on in Out of the Shadows. That being said there is a sense from this trailer, and the last, that the insufferable elements will be balanced with solid action set-pieces and a better roster of villains than the first film.
There’s been no word as to whether or not we’ll be seeing Baxter Stockman turn into his fly-person self, but a film that finally features Kraang, who will be voiced by Brad Garrett now, and his mech-suit, as well as what seems like his dome, is enough to get me nostalgic and therefore enough for me to sit through a free press screening. Would it be really worth it to pay for a ticket to this thing? Judge for yourself; you can take a look at what would seemingly be the final trailer for the film right below.

Here’s the official synopsis for the film:
Michelangelo, Donatello, Leonardo, and Raphael return to cinemas this summer to battle bigger, badder villains, alongside April O’Neil (Megan Fox), Vern Fenwick (Will Arnett), and a newcomer: the hockey-masked vigilante Casey Jones (Stephen Amell). After supervillain Shredder escapes custody, he joins forces with mad scientist Baxter Stockman (Tyler Perry) and two dimwitted henchmen, Bebop (Gary Anthony Williams) and Rocksteady (WWE Superstar Stephen “Sheamus” Farrelly), to unleash a diabolical plan to take over the world. As the Turtles prepare to take on Shredder and his new crew, they find themselves facing an even greater evil with similar intentions: the notorious Krang.
