If you live in Los Angeles and are a fan of comic book characters and/or art, you’re in luck.  Disney announced today that Gallery1988 in Hollywood will be playing host to a bevy of artwork inspired by The Avengers.  The art show will run through the film’s opening weekend, May 3rd through May 6th, so you can partake in more The Avengers goodness before and after you catch the flick.  Disney sent over a couple of sample prints that will be on display, and my jealousy-meter raised up quite a few ticks after having a peek at what Gallery1988 will have to offer.
