New Image from THE AVENGERS Highlights Buddy Time with Thor and Agent Coulson

     February 17, 2012

We’re slowly closing in on the release of Marvel’s The Avengers, and the studio has just released a new image from the film. The pic isn’t anything mind blowing, but it shows off Chris Hemsworth’s Thor and Clark Gregg’s Agent Coulson buddying up aboard the Helicarrier. I was incredibly impressed with the extended TV spot that played during (and after) the Super Bowl, so I’m really hoping Joss Whedon and Co. bring the goods.

Hit the jump to check out the new image. The film also stars Robert Downey Jr., Chris Evans, Mark Ruffalo, Scarlett Johansson, Jeremy Renner and Samuel L. Jackson. The Avengers opens in 3D on May 4th.
