In Episode 3 of the Collider TV Podcast I am — first of all — not sick! This week’s topics include my take on Kurt Sutter‘s new FX drama The Bastard Executioner, which premiered this past Tuesday, as well as what Kit Harington‘s comments about his Game of Thrones contract mean for his character Jon Snow, and the show at large. Plus, I give a little overview of how the Emmy nominations work, and why it’s so hard to predict the winners. Speaking of which, you can head back here Sunday night at 8 p.m. for Emmy Live Blog, which will feature an updated list of winners (and probably a lot of derision from me).

Here’s the rundown of this week’s show:

Intro — 0:00

Bastard Executioner — 0:58

Kit Harington’s comments on his Game of Thrones contract — 12:27

How the Emmys work — 22:30

Outro — 29:33
