Warner Bros. has released a trailer for the upcoming Blu-ray of The Dark Knight Rises.  The trailer is the same as the theatrical release except the bumper on the end says to look for the movie on Blu-ray and download.  However, the sharp-eyed folks over at Batman-News noticed the details on the trailer's YouTube page, and saw that the Blu-ray Combo Pack is due out on December 3rd.  Not too much of a surprise that it will be ready in time for the holidays, although it will miss Black Friday by a couple weeks.Hit the jump to check out the trailer.  As we previously reported, the Blu-ray will not be a director's cut.  We don't know what special features will be included on the Blu-ray.Via Batman-News.dark-knight-rises-blu-ray-date-screencapHere's the official synopsis for The Dark Knight Rises:

It has been eight years since Batman vanished into the night, turning, in that instant, from hero to fugitive. Assuming the blame for the death of D.A. Harvey Dent, the Dark Knight sacrificed everything for what he and Commissioner Gordon both hoped was the greater good. For a time the lie worked, as criminal activity in Gotham City was crushed under the weight of the anti-crime Dent Act.

But everything will change with the arrival of a cunning cat burglar with a mysterious agenda. Far more dangerous, however, is the emergence of Bane, a masked terrorist whose ruthless plans for Gotham drive Bruce out of his self-imposed exile. But even if he dons the cape and cowl again, Batman may be no match for Bane.
