On the fourth episode of the second season of The CW's The Flash, a surprising DC Comics villain made waves with an end-of-the-episode cameo. While the rest of the episode had little to do with King Shark aside from a few hints that the monstrous character was lurking in Central City, his brief appearance on screen left fans wanting more. They may be about to get their wish if Arrow star David Ramsey's comments are any indication.

After King Shark was neutralized by Earth-2's Harrison Wells, fans were also left wondering just what happened to the humanoid shark beast. During The Flash / Arrow crossover episodes, it sounds like we'll get our answer. As Ramsey teased at the Heroes & Villains Fan Fest, not only will King Shark make some sort of appearance in the special, but the superheroes will be tracking him down as a member of the Suicide Squad.

Here's what Ramsey had to say about the crossover special (via ScreenCrush):

It's unclear just when or how King Shark might make his appearance or how much of the TV version of DC's Suicide Squad is going to factor into the crossover episodes, but it's certainly good fan service either way. Aside from King Shark, these specials will be bursting at the seams with superheroes. The Flash episode "Legends of Today" on December 1st, and Arrow's December 2nd episode "Legends of Yesterday" will see Vandal Savage, Hawkman, and Hawkgirl at the very least. [Update: CBR is refuting the assertion that King Shark will appear at all, so we'll have to wait until the crossover airs to find out for sure.]
