A few weeks ago we got our first sneak-peak at some behind-the-scenes images of the upcoming Flash and Supergirl crossover, "World's Finest," but CBS has now released some official images from the highly anticipated episode. In it, The Flash's Barry Allen (Grant Gustin) will somehow get himself thrown into an alternate timeline (as he is wont to do), where he ends up in National City. The timing is helpful, since Kara (Melissa Benoist) needs help fighting a duo of baddies, Livewire (Brit Morgan) and Banshee (Italia Ricci). In exchange, she'll help Barry find his way back home.
Admittedly, I haven't kept up with this season of Supergirl, though I am an avid Flash fan ... which is probably the very point of this crossover. I'll be tuning in to see what adventures Barry has in National City, and from the looks of these episode images, things should get pretty interesting. In particular, I'm pretty much in love with Banshee's look and makeup, and it seems like "World's Finest" might be a really fun and cute episode (despite the double dose of villains). Earlier today we got a peak at the crossover itself, but details are still scarce. So, see what you can find to speculate over in the images below!
The Supergirl / Flash crossover will take place on Monday, March 28th, and is significant also in that it's a cross-network crossover (though CBS does own a stake in the CW).
