New THE GREEN INFERNO Trailer: Eli Roth Punishes Good Deeds

It’s been a long time coming, but writer-director Eli Roth’s horror-adventure film The Green Inferno is finally set to open in theaters this fall. To remind you of that fact, we have a new trailer for the film here. It takes a decidedly different approach than the film’s first trailer that debuted over a year ago. This time around, we’re introduced to a group of privileged do-gooders attempting to make their way to Peru in order to put a stop to rampant deforestation taking place in the country with the hopes of saving a local tribe from going extinct. What starts off as an eco-friendly mission soon turns to an all-out fight for survival.

Here’s the official synopsis for The Green Inferno:

Directed, co-written, and produced by Roth (Cabin FeverHostel franchise), THE GREEN INFERNO follows a group of student activists who travel from New York City to the Amazon to save a tribe from extinction.  In an unfortunate twist of fate, when the group arrives, they are taken hostage by the very cannibals they sought to protect.
