Earlier this month, we reported that The Hobbit Extended Editions were coming to theaters in October for a special 3-night event. Now Fathom Events has released a trailer detailing the Extended Edition trilogy, and specified that The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey will show on October 5th, The Desolation of Smaug will show on October 7th, and The Battle of the Five Armies (which will be Rated ‘R’) will show on October 13th. The trailer also shows a little bit of new footage from Five Armies, specifically Beorn, who stole the film when he was airdropped into the battle by an eagle.
