Last summer, I spoke with Mondo's CEO Justin Ishmael, and he revealed the company's plans to release a deluxe The Iron Giant figure.  As he went on and on about the awesome details, I jokingly responded, "Shut up and take my money," even though they didn't have a set price yet.  Today, we have that price, we have new images of the figure, and most importantly, we know when it will be available.

Mondo has announced that the deluxe figure will retail for $300, and be available for pre-order starting tomorrow.  $300 may sound like a lot, but it's not when you consider all the figure's features (or maybe you're just like me and love the movie so much that no price point would be considered too outrageous).  While there's no limit on the pre-orders, there will be a limited edition "Hand Under Foot" edition for $315, which is limited to 250 and comes with the nice addition of the loose hand that wanders around Hogarth's home while the Giant is hiding in the barn.  Hit the jump to check out The Iron Giant Mondo figure images and learn more details about it.  The figures are expected to ship in the third quarter of 2015.  Follow Mondo on Twitter for the announcement of when the figures will be on sale tomorrow.

The figure features over 30 points of articulation and a variety of accessories allowing you to transform the Iron Giant into all of his notable incarnations. You’ll receive two interchangeable heads with light-up eyes, a magnetic “S” that can be detached from a Seafood sign and attached to his chest, switch-out “War Arm” when things get tense, a Hogarth mini-figure that sits perfectly in his hand, and of course, a girder to munch on. Additionally, the figure includes a sound feature with favorite Iron Giant quotes from the film.

And here's The Iron Giant director Brad Bird enjoying the figure, and click over to io9 to see video of it.
