It's slightly unconventional to put out a new featurette for a film's that been on Blu-ray for over six months, but Warner Bros. has seized on The LEGO Movie's serious shot at picking up an Oscar for Best Animated Feature even though nominations haven't even been announced yet.  The film has been a favorite among numerous critics groups for Best Animated Feature, and to keep the movie fresh in the minds of fans and Academy voters (nomination voting ends tomorrow at 5pm PT), this featurette shows the excellent animation process for the film and how everything in the picture could be built by real LEGO.  It's an achievement that's not only visually amazing, but also technologically remarkable.
