Discover the Forest in New PSA from THE LORAX

     December 20, 2011

I was surprised at how taken I was with the trailers we have seen for The Lorax.  Illumination Entertainment has nailed the CGI treatment on Dr. Seuss’ whimsical swirls.  The candy colored forests in particular look gorgeous.  Though it will inevitably invite accusations of child brainwashing from some conservative groups, The Lorax is the perfect vehicle to promote the forest conservation.  The USDA Forest Service has cut a new PSA for their Discover the Forest campaign using footage from The Lorax, and if nothing else, it serves as a great pitch for the beauty of the animation.

The Lorax, featuring the voices of Danny DeVito, Zac Efron, Ed Helms, Taylor Swift, Rob Riggle, and Betty White, opens in 3D on March 2, 2012.  Hit the jump for the PSA and campaign poster.
