Sony has released five movie clips from director Adam McKay’s (Talladega Nights, Anchorman, Step Brothers) The Other Guys and you can check them out after the jump.  The movie stars Will Ferrell, Mark Wahlberg, Eva Mendes, Michael Keaton, Steve Coogan, Ray Stevenson, Samuel L. Jackson, and Dwayne Johnson.  I caught a screening a few days ago and am happy to report I absolutely loved this movie. If you’re a fan of McKay/Ferrell movies, get ready for another awesome movie.

As you’ve probably seen in the trailer and TV spots, Ferrell and Wahlberg play partners that never get in on the action.  But due to landing a great case, their fortunes might change.  Trust me, you’re going to love this film.  For a taste of what’s to come, check out the clips:

Here’s the synopsis:

NYPD Detectives Christopher Danson and P.K. Highsmith (Dwayne Johnson and Samuel L. Jackson) are the baddest and most beloved cops in New York City. They don’t get tattoos – other men get tattoos of them. Two desks over and one back, sit Detectives Allen Gamble (Will Ferrell) and Terry Hoitz (Mark Wahlberg). You’ve seen them in the background of photos of Danson and Highsmith, out of focus and eyes closed. They’re not heroes – they’re “the Other Guys.” But every cop has his or her day and soon Gamble and Hoitz stumble into a seemingly innocuous case no other detective wants to touch that could turn into New York City’s biggest crime. It’s the opportunity of their lives, but do these guys have the right stuff? Columbia Pictures’ ensemble action comedy The Other Guys stars Will Ferrell, Mark Wahlberg, Eva Mendes, Michael Keaton, Steve Coogan, Ray Stevenson, with Samuel L. Jackson and Dwayne Johnson. Directed by Adam McKay

All the clips are in the player below.  Once you push play you might have to watch some pre-roll and then all the clips will play in order.  Sorry about the pre-roll, it pays for the bandwidth.
