Last week, we showed you the first images from the horror film The Oregonian which will be playing as part of the Park City at Midnight program at this year's Sundance Film Festival. If you're choosing to see the film, you're also going to see a short film by Nicholas McCarthy called The Pact. The short stars the lovely Jewel Staite (Firefly) and Sam Ball (The Event) and McCarthy tells us that The Pact is an homage to celebrated horror directors Val Lewton and Daria Argento. Here's the synopsis:
"As a woman struggles to come to grips with her past after her mother's death, an unsettling presence emerges."
Hit the jump to check out the images. The 2011 Sundance Film Festival runs from January 20th â 30th.
