20th Century Fox has released a new set of set of character posters for the upcoming adaptation of Charles Shultz's beloved animation, The Peanuts Movie. The CG-animated feature comes from producer Paul Feig (Bridesmaids), director Steve Martino (Horton Hears a Who!), and writer Craig Schulz, the son of Peanuts-creator Charles Schulz. So far, everything we've seen from the film, from the stylistic 3D animation to the plot-free trailer, seems to be aimed at a very young audience. These posters continue that trend by introducing the characters to a new audience with three small descriptors each. They're like a cuter version of last year's Jack Ryan: Shadow Recruit posters. It looks like a  fun film, but I wouldn't be surprised if it's light on Schulz's famed philosophical insights.

The film is due in theaters in 3D on November 6, 2015 and will feature the voices of Noah SchnappHadley Belle MillerAJ TecceNoah JohnstonVenus SchultheisAlexander GarfinFrancesca CapaldiMar MarMariel Sheets and Rebecca Bloom. Check out the new The Peanuts Movie character posters below.

Here's the official The Peanuts Movie synopsis:

Charlie Brown, Snoopy, Lucy, Linus and the rest of the beloved “Peanuts" gang make their big-screen debut, like they’ve never been seen before, in state of the art 3D animation. Snoopy, the world’s most lovable beagle and flying ace embarks upon his greatest mission as he takes to the skies to pursue his arch-nemesis The Red Baron, while his best pal, Charlie Brown, begins his own epic quest.  From the imagination of Charles M. Schulz and the creators of the ICE AGE films, THE PEANUTS MOVIE will prove that every underdog has his day.
