The first full trailer for writer-director Gareth Evan's The Raid 2: Berandal is now online.  The previously released teaser trailer showed action hero Rama (Iko Uwais) incarcerated and a recent press release answered just why that was.  In this new trailer, much more plot information is divulged in a subdued build up to the necessary action montage.  There are a couple of glimpses of fight sequences that beg a longer viewing but we'll have to wait until Sundance 2014 at the earliest to see how they all play out.

The film also stars Julie Estelle (Macabre), Alex Abbad (Merantau), Marsha Timothy (The Forbidden Door), Mathias MuchusTio Pakusadewo, and Cecep Arif Rahman.  The Raid 2: Berandal opens March 28, 2014.  Hit the jump to watch the trailer and see what Evans had to say about The Raid films here.
