Director Gareth Evans set a high bar for himself with The Raid 2.  The story was bare-bones, but it was in service to a movie where the point was to show characters breaking bones.  Evans has been keeping fans in the loop on the movie from the first day of the 100-day shoot.  He's also revealed that the story takes place two hours after the first movie ends, and there will be a "cool fight scene where you go inside a car, fighting against four people as it’s speeding along a one-way."  Yesterday, he tweeted "Last I checked - the action alone clocked in around 1hr 5mins mark."  Presumably, the movie is 1 hour and 6 minutes long.  He also tweeted, "We have 17 action sequences in the film - so there’s going to be a lot fresh material unspoiled by any teaser or trailer we release."Hit the jump to check out the first teaser art from the movie, and click here for Steve's interview with Evans about the film from Sundance 2011.  Iko Uwais will return to lead the picture and he'll be joined by Julie Estelle (Macabre), Alex Abbad (Merantau), Marsha Timothy (The Forbidden Door), Mathias Muchus, Tio Pakusadewo, and Cecep Arif Rahman.  Evans hopes to release the movie next year.Via Twitch.the-raid-2-berandal-teaser-poster
