While The Simpsons usually stays out of current affairs, it didn’t want to sit out this debate season entirely, and so they’ve released a short online where Marge can no longer handle the hateful rhetoric among the nominees. It eventually leads to her having an amusing dream, and I won’t spoil any more than that. While The Simpsons may not be the most relevant show on the air (the result of A) being old; B) taking a while for episodes to go from script to finished animation), I’m still glad they put this together, and I hope it’s not the last short they do.
