‘The Walking Dead’: Watch the First 4 Minutes of the Midseason Premiere, Plus New Images

     February 10, 2016

If you can’t wait until Sunday, February 14th, to see the first episode of The Walking Dead’s season 6 midseason premiere, then AMC has a treat for you. The network released the first four minutes of the hour online for your enjoyment, even though no joy is felt from Daryl, Sasha, and Abraham.

The first four minutes reveal a tense meeting with Negan’s motorcycle gang, as they take and take and take from the trio. Abraham has a harder time giving up his weapon than the others, and one guy pushes Daryl to the back to see what other treasures they might be carrying. Things take a turn for the worse when the leader pulls a gun on Sasha and Abraham, and he’s not even the worst of them.

Watch the footage below.

Elsewhere, EW debuted a series of photos from the episode. From the captions underneath, we learn that this interaction will set the rest of the events into motion. In addition, Daryl and Rick’s road trip will happen February 21st and will contain moments of comedy, Negan’s Wolf who has Denise as a captive might be in for some karmic retribution as he attempts to run from both Alexandria and the walkers, Michonne will be trying to find happiness, and the premiere’s 1,300 walkers will set a new record for the most zombies used.

AMC released the following synopsis for the events to come during the premiere:

While trying to escape Alexandria, Rick and his group meet trouble when sudden noise draws walkers towards them with what could be fatal consequences.

Watch the full episode when The Walking Dead returns on February 14th at 9 p.m. EST. Along with Deadpool debuting in theaters, this is turning into one romantic Valentine’s Day weekend.
