This should go without saying based on the title, but just in case: Beware of spoilers from The Walking Dead season 7 premiere.

When the AMC zombie drama returned on Sunday night, it brought with it the answer to the question that’s plagued fans since the season 6 finale months ago: Who did Negan kill? As it turns out, he killed two people: Abraham (Michael Cudlitz) and Glenn (Steven Yeun). With fans in morning, Cudlitz and Yeun are offering their goodbyes to the viewers at home in a series of videos.

Watch them below.

Yeun’s was more impactful if only because he’s been on the show since the very beginning. Few actors have that privilege, but Andrew Lincoln (Rick), Norman Reeds (Daryl), Chandler Riggs (Carl), and Melissa McBride (Carol) are it. One could add Lennie James (Morgan) to that list, but he’s bobbed in and out since the first few episodes. But now this gives Yeun more time to work on Netflix’s Voltron Legendary Defender, right?

Elsewhere, AMC released a pair of featurettes that delved behind the scenes of the pivotal episode. One focuses mainly on Rick’s journey to this moment in the story, while the other explains how the events were essentially meant to break Rick down as a person. He spent so much of the show as head of a Ricktatorship, and now he’s come to an immovable wall.

There were a few hints in the episode that suggested Negan might turn into a stand-in for the Governor of the comics and sever Rick’s hand. But what it amounted to was a test of Rick’s character. The Negan of the series ultimately wants Rick to serve him, the producers say in the videos, but before he can do that, Negan needs to break him.

Watch the two featurettes below, including a sneak peek of next week’s episode.
