20th Century Fox has released the first clip from director James Mangold’s upcoming film The Wolverine.  Rather than teasing a small-scale fist fight or a dialogue sequence, Fox has unveiled a snippet of one of the film’s major action sequences: the bullet train fight.  While the initial peek at the set piece in the early trailers showed some spotty visual effects, this finished version looks great and is rather intense.  I really like what we’ve seen of Mangold’s handle on the fight sequences thus far, and I’m eager to see this visceral style put to good use in the full film.
