Just last week, some concept art and the first set photos from director James Mangold’s The Wolverine landed online, and now with production underway some video from one of the film’s more ambitious sets has surfaced.  As I know some of you would like to remain spoiler-free for as long as possible, I won’t go into detail here on the front page.  Suffice it to say, the story takes place in Japan (where location shooting will also take place) and stars Hugh Jackman, Will Yun Lee, Hiroyuki Sanada, Hal Yamanouchi, Tao Okamoto, and Rila Fukushima, with Svetlana Khodchenkova recently entering negotiations to play Viper.Hit the jump to watch the set video, but beware of possible spoilers.  The Wolverine opens on July 26th, 2013.In last week’s batch of set photos, we saw a miniature model of what looked to be some sort of concentration camp.  This set video reveals that it’s actually a Japanese POW camp, which seems to imply that at least some of the events of The Wolverine will take place during World War II, putting those atom bomb concept images into a much clearer context.  The video comes courtesy of a local newscast in Australia where stage work is being done, so there’s plenty of talk about how good-looking Jackman is (spoiler alert: really, really, really good-looking) interspersed with the footage of note.Via SHH.
