So, don’t be the one left out of the conversation because you missed a big piece of superhero news, all you need to know is right here! Rounding up this week is the final X-Men: Apocalypse trailer, new Spider-Man footage from Captain America: Civil War, Wolverine 3 casting news, The Flash losing its director, and more. Bryan Singer’s X-Men: Apocalypse is quickly sneaking up on us and will be here sooner than you think, and while we wait for its arrival we now got the release of the final trailer for the film. We get a little more story this time around and the continuing hints at the action and destruction coming our way. But what got everyone talking about the trailer was definitely the brief but highly-effective appearance of a trio of adamantium claws, confirming Wolverine (Hugh Jackman) is in the movie.

We also got more promotional material with a clip that explains the villain’s origins, a new ad giving a new look at Cyclops (Tye Sheridan), and a couple of new international TV Spots.

‘The Punisher’: Netflix Orders Spin-Off Series

Frank Castle (Jon Bernthal)’s addition to the already popular Daredevil series was met with much praise, leaving fans asking that the character get his own series, and the good news is that those wishes are coming true with the reveal that Netflix has ordered a Punisher spin-off series. There are still no specific details about the series other than the green light, but what we do know is that writer and executive producer Steve Lightfoot will be the showrunner.

‘Wolverine 3’ Adds Richard E. Grant and Stephen Merchant

While we’re all excited about Wolverine 3, there is still very little known about the film other than speculations and rumors, but one thing we now know is that Richard E. Grant and Stephen Merchant have been added to the cast, joining Hugh Jackman in the film. According to reports, Grant is set to play a “villainous mad-scientist type” but no specifics are given. And even less is known about Merchant’s character, for whom not even a description was given.

‘Captain America: Civil War’: New TV Spot Shows More Spider-Man

Ever since the Captain America: Civil War trailer revealed Spider-Man and we lost our minds we’ve been curious what we will see from him in the film, and we got a new look with the release of a new TV Spot that features more Spider-Man (Tom Holland). While it is exciting to see Spidey in action and his “You have a metal arm? That is awesome, dude!” line was great, I have to hope they’re not giving away his best moments in promotional material.

If you need something more to look at there were also over 50 images released from the film, and if you ever wondered what Vision (Paul Bettany) looks like in regular people clothes then you must see these images.

I’m with you in the excitement and anticipation for the release of Batman: The Killing Joke, even more so now that we know that the film received an R rating, and now we got an extended look at the adaptation with the release of the first full trailer. With lines (spoken by no other than Mark Hamill and Kevin Conroy) and shots that make you feel like you’re looking at the comic book, this trailer makes me want to be able to see this movie right now.

‘The Flash’ Loses Director Seth Grahame-Smith

We have to now move on to some disappointing news that hit this week concerning DC and Warner Bros. as The Flash has lost its director Seth Grahame-Smith. According to reports, Grahame-Smith has now departed the project due to “creative differences” with WB, leaving the studio to have to start a new search for someone to take the helm. The Flash isn’t hitting theaters until 2018, so there’s plenty of time to deal with the setback.
